FABRIC
The Loro Piana Four Season fabric collection is made using the finest pure wool from New Zealand and Australia.
Super 130's yarn count is at the right spot when you are looking for luxurious cloth that is durable and easy to care.
It is a perfect four season weight (260g/m) and the key elements to it are: rich and smooth hand-feel, beautiful drape; and a fantastic colour range.
INTERNAL CONSTRUCTION
This Loro Piana Blazer is 30 hours of pure craftsmanship. It is a Half-Canvas Blazer, completely custom made in Shanghai by our tailors skilled and loving hands, which also produce men’s suits for prestigious fashion houses.
We like the construction of this Loro Piana Blazer because the canvas only runs through the chest and lapels. This way it feels more robust and comfortable than a fused blazer - but also lighter and less structured than a fully canvassed suit. The blazer will, therefore, have a structure and at the same time an elegant fluidity. The canvas fabric also gives this wool blazer greater durability compared to a fused construction blazer.
The Neapolitan Trim fit has high armholes, thin shoulder pads and thin sleeve-head pads, which creates a very gentle roped sleeve. The Soft Comfort fit (pictured here) also has thin shoulder pads but it does not have sleeve-head pads; the sleeve head is made with the "spalla camicia" technique (also called "shirt sleeve"), which means the sleeve-head is natural and not roped.
DETAILS & CARE
This single-breasted, 3-roll-2 buttoned blazer is unlined and has 2 straight double-jets pockets. The Soft Comfort Fit blazer also includes a generous 10cm notch lapel and double side vents. The chest pocket "Barchetta" is cut with a curve similar to the shape of a boat which confers harmonious proportions.
Request dry cleaning at a specialist cleaner's only. Do not bleach or tumble dry. Iron at a low temperature.
Made to Order tailoring and knitwear are manufactured then shipped out from Shanghai within four weeks, shirting within three weeks.
